I truly believe that my purpose is to help others find their purpose in this life which, can be breathtakingly amazing. Each of us are made with a burning desire to do something with our lives but very few know what that is, or they put it aside for “one day”.

One thing I’ve realised is that we live in a when mentality. You have a goal or a dream but you’ll only go for it when something else happens. Before my car accident I always wanted to learn how to do graphic and website design but I never did anything about it because there was never enough time…which, by the way is the biggest lie we can tell ourselves. I had the accident and then all I had was time. I survived my operation and ICU with little odds. After about a week in hospital, a company name and logo design came to me and straight away, I had someone design the logo for me.

There’s nothing like standing on death’s door, to really wake up and flip the switch.

Before the accident I was living like most people, just working to pay bills. I then heard about a job in marketing, now some interesting information, I started my Marketing Degree but froze it after a year because Economics and Commercial Law were boring. When I got into the online world, it was as if a light had been switched on, I understood it, I loved it and I just wanted to learn more.

The job that I had after that is where I learned all about Dr Demartini and he opened my eyes as well as my mind. I was there for 2 months and then had the accident so I hope you can see now how things happen for a reason. Strategic little things to get us to our purpose and destiny.

I learnt that if you think back to when you were aged between seven and eleven to what you really enjoyed, it’s the first piece of the puzzle. For me, I turned my friend’s wendy house into an office where we would have meetings. I’d wash my neighbours dogs and cars as well as host jumble sales and sell my parents groceries. Yes I really did but don’t I get credit for being an entrepreneur? The other piece of the puzzle is to know what your value system is. This is seven areas of life so you would list them in order of importance to least importance for you.

The value system is combined with other important questions such as what you enjoy the most and least at your job/business currently. The bottom line is that if we spend enough time with ourselves and in asking ourselves questions, it’s quite easy to figure out what your purpose as well as passion is and yes they are different. Your passion is what you really enjoy but your purpose sets your soul on fire.
